Two of our Traditional Herefords have just produced two lovely heifer calves. Prestwood Julia and Prestwood Judy both pictured below.Perhaps we may find both of them in the show ring next year. BBC Countryfile Filming at Manor House Farm   All though this all happened last year we feel this is still of interest. It was certainly different as we spent about three hours filming but most of the filming ended on the cutting room floor! leaving us with a 3 minute slot. Adam has been doing great work for Rare Breeds and i was delighted to be involved  Penelope our pig.Seen here with Fletcher and Ted has now grown up and is a great mother and still extremely friendly.   .Here are two pictures of contrast.The snow of winter and the bluebells of early summer   We have had to do work on the Summer House as it nearly blew down in a winter storm.Very pleased to say it is finished now,and hopefully safe for the next 30 years |
