The gardens offer you the chance to both relax and explore. Sporting arguably the largest stone table you are likely to see [Once part of the floor of The Municipal Baths in Lancaster] and a Summer House that started life on top of a hospital in Sheffield this is a garden of great character. There is also an old railway truck that used to be used in the farm yard to store fertilizer but now has been turned into a second summer house from which you get the best views towords the Weaver Hills. We are both keen if not very good gardeners and advice as to where we are going wrong is always welcome. There is also the chance for a fun game of tennis on our grass tennis court although to be fair it is sometimes advisable to let the ball bounce before choosing your shot. For those less energetic you can play a game of croquet on one of the terraced lawns or just steal away to read on one of the many seats that you will find. The garden stretches to over three acres in size offering plenty of space for all and is ideal for anyone wishing to barbeque if the weather permits.
